ESG - Environmental, Social, and Governance

ESG serves as a tool for businesses to provide a more nuanced picture of their operations to investors, customers, and partners.

 

Our ESG-Report uses 2023 as our baseline year. 
The purpose of this report is to present a balanced overview of our impacts on the environment and society at the local, national, and international levels.


The climate accounting section includes an overview of the greenhouse gas emissions we generated during the year, calculated in CO2e in accordance 
with the GHGP.

As a company, we want to be transparent and set high standards for our products, services and manufacturing. We are both ISO9001 and 14001 certified, and see quality and environment as a constant exercise as technology evolves and brings us new opportunities for improvements.

Gram BioLine wants to set the standard in the market when it comes to developing, manufacturing, and delivering the most safe and reliable refrigerators and freezers for biostorage. At the same time, we want to secure environment and energy optimisation in both product and manufacturing process.

We strive to lower our environmental impact by

  • Mimimising our Co2 emissions in our products, both in terms of energy usage and by the use of natural refrigerants.
  • Pushing environmentally friendly solutions, like e.g. CFC and HCFC- free insulation
  • Minimising energy consumption in our production.
  • Re-use of materials in production.
  • Minimising waste and sorting of waste.
